Overview
This course is designed prepare individuals to set up and maintain components in a Production Management workgroup. It can also serve as a review for customers who have taken previous Interplay administration classes or as an introduction to those unfamiliar with Avid’s Production Management concepts. Students learn how a Production Management database functions in a collaborative Avid workgroup environment. Topics of interest are: media and metadata, engine types, database customization, search functionality and deletion strategies.
This course prepares students to take the full WG213 MediaCentral | Production Management Administration course either in a classroom setting or onsite. For those wishing to become certified, completion of the full WG213 Media Central | Production Management Administration course and exam are necessary.
